Who we are

Mar De Palm is an experience agency based in El Gouna, Red Sea, Egypt. We arrange sea trips, desert experiences and stays across El Gouna and Hurghada. This policy explains what happens to your information when you use mardepalm.com.

The short version

This website collects almost nothing about you. There are no accounts, no booking forms, no newsletter sign up, and no tracking or advertising cookies. We do not run analytics that profile you, and we do not sell or share data with advertisers, because we do not gather it in the first place.

What the website handles

  • No personal data is requested or stored by the site itself. There is no form on any page that asks for your name, email or phone number.
  • Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs, such as IP address and browser type, for security and to keep the site running. These are handled by the host and are not used by us to build a profile of you.
  • Only essential functional cookies are used, and only where the site or the host needs them to work correctly. See our Cookie Policy.

No payments on this site

We do not take payments through mardepalm.com. There is no checkout, no card field and no payment processor connected to this website. We never ask for card or bank details over the website, and we never collect them here. Payment for a booking is arranged with you directly once the booking is confirmed.

WhatsApp, our only third party service

Every booking button on this site opens a WhatsApp conversation with us. When you tap one, you leave mardepalm.com and enter WhatsApp, which is operated by Meta. At that point your use of WhatsApp is governed by WhatsApp's own terms and privacy policy, not by ours.

Through that conversation we will see your WhatsApp phone number, your profile name and the messages you choose to send us. We use that only to answer you and to arrange your booking. We do not add you to marketing lists without your agreement.

Email and Instagram

If you email us or message us on Instagram, we will see whatever that service shows us, along with the content of your message. We use it only to reply and to arrange your booking.

How long we keep things

We keep booking conversations for as long as we need them to deliver your experience and to handle anything that follows, such as a question about a trip you have already taken. After that we delete them on request.

Your choices

Because we hold so little, your options are simple. You can ask us to delete the conversation we have had with you, you can ask what we hold about you, and you can stop messaging us at any time. Contact us using the details below and we will act on it.

Changes to this policy

If our services change, for example if we ever add online booking or payments, we will update this page before that goes live and change the date at the top.
